Default Which FTP Client do you use?

I'm in the market for a new ftp client. I HAD Smart FTP and loved it. However, a new version came out and the upgrade was forced upon me. It's TOTALLY different! I can't even find the connect button!!!!!!!!!!

SO I'm looking for another one.

    What do you use?

I have been useing FlashFXP the last many years, and it fits my needs perfectly as a webdeveloper, with many projects.

I cannot say for their new versions, as my version is 1.3 from 2000

I still use SmartFTP. It is okay for me so far, but what you said about it sounds a little scary.

I tried them all....from free ones to paid ones.
One I have been using without fail for the past year or so has been
    and is: Cute FTP Professional

Never had a problem or got mad at it (one of the few software programs I can say that about...LOL).

The one I use, Professional, isn't free.

WS_FTP LE used to be free, but they don't seem to offer it anymore, you can download 30 day evaluations though, http://www.ipswitch.com/downloads/index.asp

I use FileZilla it works well for me. When it doesn't want to play nice for me, I boot into Linux and use the built in client.

I also have the client Grim recommended, I've played around with it a bit seems nice.

At work it's WS_FTP Pro and home it's the old (old, old) WS_FTP LE free version. If you look around you can still find the LE version but it's no longer supported and, as Kalina mentioned, the company wants you to use their 30-day trial version instead now for evaluation.

I'm using the old FileZilla 2.0.2, it work best for me.
I've tried with newer version of FileZilla for several times when it released, but I always have encounter some problem/bug, so I ended up switch back to the old one again.

Since I'm rather...umm...cheap right now I went for the freebies.

I used AceFTP3 Freeware and like it quite a bit actually. I've tried CoreFTP Lite as well and it's been decent too.

Yeah, WS_FTP seems to to better as it connects to all servers no matter whether it is linux or Windows.
Sometimes other FTP clients face problems while connecting to some server.....

FileZilla. I have both the stable and beta version installed. Love both but the Beta version is lacking some features currently that I love, such as viewing and editing a file on the server.

I use FileZilla as well. It seems to have outweighed all of the other programs I've used. It's fast, efficient, and easy to use.. without a whole bunch of extra stuff I don't want to see clogging my screen.

I use SFTP, similiar but from what I know uses a secure shell connection. More powerful and allows me to easily manage my entire server instead of creating a new account for each domain.

Since I only use dedicated servers now I am able to do this, most do not have this option on shared hosting. VPS, dedicated, or certain instances of shared allow this if you have ssh access that is.

Recently i used beta-9 filezilla but was not happy with it ...to slow to upload some heavy files also gave some errors for passive mode = enable.

    WS_FTP is best till......
