Question Ad Blockers - How do you feel about them?

As a webmaster how do you feel about people using ad blockers?

I personally use Adblock Plus but disable it on sites I regularly visit. I don't have a problem with 1 or 2 ads on sites. I have a problem with sites like MySpace that blaster ads all over the place. The same with newspaper sites who blaster crappy ads in an attempt to make up the revenue their loosing on paper copies to the internet. A lot of TV stations do the same.

As a webmaster my opinion is that I can deliver the content but ultimately what's displayed on someone's screen is their prerogative.

How do you feel about blocking ads - Both as an end user & a webmaster?

I don't think anyone likes their ads to be blocked, I know I wouldn't. As for blocking them, if they annoy me, I will block them. Firefox is perfect for it. I just right click on ads I don't want to see and they're removed right there, I also do it to animated avatars that put my balance out of wack, lol!

If I ran sites like I used to I'd be pissed! The surfer wants my content for free but wont show the one thing that pays for it.
Now I don't rely on ads so I really don't care to tell you the truth, I still think blocking all ads is kind of bogus. Pop ups is a different story.

My server has a ad blocker running that is a bit to agressive, blocks images all the time it shouldn't.

All and all I'd say on both ends I'm not for it, more against it..
