Thread: Not Bad, But Not Happy Either

I like the economics and functionality, for the most part, of my web host, but I'm not completely happy with their customer service. I've been contemplating moving host, but have big concerns about moving hosts and more over, about possibly losing anything in the process of transfer in regards to files and the like.

I post what they offer, in a nutshell - can you tell me if it's a good deal or not. I'll go into greater detail about why I'm not happy with the customer service aspect a bit later.

Another point I should make, is that I only started into web designing a little over a year ago. So, this was the virgin-popper so to speak and I'm not so much in love with them as comfortable with them.

Something else I should point out, is that I don't use the plan to its fullest extent, mainly because of my own lack of knowledge and comfort-zone.

Anyway, I'll cut/paste what I get for my $60 USD a month and await comments and then post more of my own.

Thanks for the information John! I now need to do a little investigating myself as that sounds awesome on many levels! I will have to check out their different plans.

My freshdames.com site alone is sucking up some serious space and bandwith now, so this would be a concern. Also, I have 17 domains live at IX now with room to grow, so again, I will be checking out your source/recommendations to see if they can accomodate and grow with me.

Also, I'm already using up over 500MB of space with plans to grow ... great information though - if nothing else, I may splice off a few domains to them and see how it goes and then upgrade or move more later. It'll be a good use for comparison and reporting back for here if nothing else
