I though i would put a word out about these people.

You know them hosts who worry about money, and once you have paid, they actually try to get rid of you?
Well these are one of them hosts...

In the last year i have had my PAID account suspended 5 times, all without warning and i had to fight to get it back.
Each time resulting with a downtime of upto a week.

The first time this happened i contacted them and they informed me they had got a "report of hacking", thats all they said.
I contacted them again to ask what this "report of hacking" was and they said i had "hacking content".
Thier unwillingness to even explain the situation was very frustrating.
It turns out the "hacking" they were talking about were mods for forums, you know the kind, quick reply boxes, forum themes and such. I had to explain to these people what "Forum hacks" were and that they were perfectly legal and not anything to do with the hacking they thought.
Thier excuse was that they use scripts to check the content for suspicious words.
So if you have a news item about "google being hacked" expect to have you account deleted.
They then unlocked my account.
4 Days downtime.

The second time my account was suspended i contacted them and they said i was using "proxy software", this baffled me, we had no such thing on the website.
Again, i had to ask them to explain and they said i was using thier server as an IRC proxy.
I explained to them that what they thought was an IRC proxy was actually a chat script used by members that could only access one channel.
They told me it was "against thier terms", so i went to look at thier "terms" and could find NOTHING saying i was not allowed to run this script.
They then told me that i was right, there was nothing in the terms but they had "meant to add it", i told them i didnt care what they meant to add, i can only abide by the rules they display.
They then unlocked my account on the condition that i removed the script, which i did.
6 days downtime.

The third time my account was suspended i contacted them, and i got the abrupt answer "you host archives".
Archives? i thought.... Surely they cant mean zip files.
I emailed them back and asked "do you mean zip files?"
and to my amazement, THEY DID!
"yes, zip files" was thier answer.
By this time i was starting to lose my temper.
Was i really not allowed to host zip files on hosting im paying for?
They said thier new policy was that thier hosting was not to be used for storing files, i had to dirrect them to all the links that linked to the files, even though surely if im paying for web space i should be able to use that space im paying for to store anything.

The 4th time my account was suspended, i contacted them and they tond me im using DDoS bots to attack other servers.
By this time i half expected these imbeciles to completely get the wrong end of the stick, and as i expected, they did, again.

They pointed me to a url on my site which had the word "bot" in the name and they told me it was a DDoSing bot.
They were completely off the mark as it was a php bot that talks to people. It has no networking capabilities and only replies to what people type to it.
Again, i had to explain to these people what it was, they then unlocked my account.
7 days down time.

Now, i dont mind if my account gets locked for breaking T&C as long as the T&C are there for people to read. Not just ideas they have had that we are all supposed to guess.

And to lock the account for the wrong reasons, or T&C that are not displayed without even telling me is completely unprofesional and shows a complete lack of respect for the people who pay thier wages.

Luckaly i visit my site every day, so i was able to quickly get onto them.
But if i was someone who owned a lot of sites the site could still have been down.
They had no intention of unlocking the account untill i got onto them, and the fact that every time they unlocked my account shows that they were in the wrong every time and that they had not investigated the issue at all.


I dont know if this makes them "one of the worst hosts", but i know it dosnt make them a very good one.

My advice is, use someone else to save yourself a lot of trouble. These people dont care about thier customers at all.
