In an email dated 8/2/2005, Chris Stewart, representative of 1AHosting.com, a web hosting reseller online, refused a hosting order placed by Rose Petal, because He was a Drag Queen now i feel that being a web hosting reseller that there is no room for racist web host in the www world also another part of the messeage was this:In an email, Mr. Stewart states: "Sorry ,Please go else where for hosting as we DO NOT Host what my childern cannot view with me. Good day...." i understand if it was an adult site but a promo site for ms rose petals performing that is going over the line .but i just want to say i dont turst this company and who is to say that they wont be that way to people of color or anything that racist people are not for .if i have mad anyone mad i am sorry and didnt mean to hurt anyone.

I'm sorry that this happened, but I feel that I have to comment on a couple of points.

You write this as if you weren't directly involved in this situation. Are you reporting hearsay? If so, how do you know it's accurate?

Drag queens aren't a separate race. Treating them poorly might be a sign of another sort of bias, but it isn't racism.

Well, 1ahosting's terms of service specifically forbid obscene content. How obscene was the content in question? I have no way of knowing, and neither does anyone else who reads this thread.

Well, you've potentially hurt 1ahosting. Whether or not they deserve it in this case remains to be seen. I look forward to the results of the investigation.

You make a good point and we are going to get their side of the story and have them read this post and if warranted it will be removed.
