    Thumbs down superuser.net

Where do I start. Well, their support was never very good to begin with, but their prices were excellent and the control panel was nice.

The reason I'm posting, however, is due to their billing system. We dropped the domain name & hosting of pbnaz.com for our church, which changed its name. Ever since the renewal date, I have received an email from their billing system at least every other week to tell me the payment is past due.

I have sent numerous emails to both their billing and support addresses from a couple different email accounts to inform them of our wish to cancel that account. I have even tried calling them. For my most recent call to them, I got an answering machine with a message that sounded like it's been overused, then was not able to leave my own message because it "couldn't accept messages at this time."

My sincere hope is that this does not go on my credit report, as apparently these people are impossible to track down to correct their mistakes.

Anyone have a suggestion as to how to correct this problem?

    Thanks!

    Hi Amanda,

It looks like the domain expired in August. If you are still getting emails/bills from them, I'd suggest you keep it all for documentation purposes. It's a real bummer when you can't get hold of a hosting company, and I'm sorry for your troubles.

It almost sounds like the company has been abandoned. As for your credit, just keep everything in case it does go that far. Was it on your credit card originally? It hasn't been renewed, so really no one is out any money at this time, just annoying emails.
