Thread: I am getting lower speed in Internet?Much slow

I am getting much lower speed and much slow i want to know the remedy for that.

First check the network condition to see what happened.What's more,check your computer to see whether it's infected with virus or not.
The reasons can be various.You'd better provide more details to us.

Call your ISP tech support. If you have a cable modem, they might have to test the coax cables in your house/building to make sure enough juice is getting through.

If you're using windows family as your workstation, check out for software running at the background. Most of the legitimate free software like free antivirus, pdf readers and even paid software like photoshop had auto detact features that is suppose to runs at the background when your computer is idle. These programs check for updates almost everyday (which I think is not smart).

Some how it turns out some program aren't that smart as they intend to be, instead of running when its idle, it graping all your processing power.

you can try disable them in Add/remove program in your windows control panel. Check for programs that says "update", "check for new version" etc.

You need to get in touch with your provide first and ask about the problem and may be then check your equipment.
