Thread: Firefox or Internet Explorer?

For me Firefox is my primary browser and Internet explorer is the second one. Firefox can allow you to add as much addon you want, it is not the case with IE.

Internet Explorer has way too many security issues and exploits, why would anyone use it at all? The only reason I still have IE enabled on Windows, is for the additional Windows updates where I need IE installed to get.

Firefox works better than Internet Explorer.I always prefer to use Firefox.Google Chrome is also good due to the fast speed.

Does anyone still use IE? I don't think so... there's your answer.... I'd, on the other hand, suggest Chrome over FF as well...

Alreadfy told it, now repeat: nothing is better than firefox for me. The more so becaus ethe IE, which only use is to download firefox)

firefox for me. guess its google chrome that may replace firefox if google will have my needed addons.

Internet Explorer isn't even supported on Mac OS X, so I'd have to go with FireFox. But hey, I don't use that either lol... Google Chrome all the way.

I wouldn't choose any of those. Internet Explorer is too buggy, FireFox is sometimes too slow. Chrome does the work for me

i like using google chrome but when it comes to internet explorer and firefoxe i think firefox is batter option ..

I have a dilemma too. As of right now, I'm doting on FireFox because I'm loving the extensions that come along with it. Colour-pickers, code snippets, etc. the works.

I can't stand using IE; it's so slow and buggy to me compared to Firefox.

Firefox will beat IE any day of the week.

I used Firefox and have IE for back-up. I use IE less then 0.5% of the time.
I just got used to Firefox ... that did not even installed others.

with the updated version of Firefox i would always go for Firefox then Internet, but in latest Firefox version it does not support Google Ad on tool bar.

When I try opening internet explorer, the page comes up saying, "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage."
It seems as though my internet isn't working, and this page comes up for every website I try. But when I go onto Firefox I am able to connect to every website. Also, online games like WoW work just fine

after updating Internet explorer work very well against FireFoxe.

You are defenitely right!

IE is getting out of date while firefox seems to be progressive and more practical to use because of the add-ons it provides.

No doubt, FF is the best! Most of the webmasters have stopped using IE because of it's insecurity and lack of features. FF has so many addons available which gives an ease of browsing experience to webmasters and even the common users.
