Thread: Need help with Firefox 5 installation

I downloaded firefox 5.0.1 and 5.0 atleast 5 times from different site but still can't install it. It saying I don't have necessary permission to run it. it Gives me 2 option 1) as current user but that doesn't start
2) Administrator and asks passwords.(I didn't give any password anywhere)

Why is this happening?

you may have added a master password to your old Firefox
try to add that password

Make a new user of your windows and try...

Are you using Windows 7? or what OS?

What you can do after you have downloaded it, is to right click on the EXE file then click on "run as administrator", that will typically get you around the permission problems when it comes to installing programs or running programs that give you those sort of errors.

Hi friends need help. The problem actually is I want Firefox extensions and need help with it. Actually I was using Firefox version 3 and was working good enough. Then one day I thought of upgrading my browser to version 5. I barely feel any difference when I updated Firefox to 5. But I am not getting any help and unable to find and install extensions as well as add-ons for it. So if anyone has any ideas about this then please help.

Is there any way you can remove the master password?

I see video tutorial in youtube. you search it is very easy.
