    Default Recommend HostiCan and Lunarpages

I recommend both these companies as I have had the utmost unbelievable support from both. Both very personable and professional and extremely helpful. No problems with either. I test and compare hosts quite often, so needless to say they were at the very top of my list!!

How long did you host with both companies?

Sorry, but I just do not see how HostIcan can offer what they do, for such a low price. I mean, c'mon, 200 GB of storage, and 2,500 GB of B/W - for $6.95 per month ???

I've been reading around here this morning, and I've seen the adage "If it seems to good to be true, it usually IS", several times. I would hesitate to sign up with a company that offers so much for so little, simply because it DOES seem too good to be true.

Lookie here, for $10.95 per month you get 250 GB of storage and unmetered B/W, and unlimited domains! Hell, if this is the real deal, I would RUN, not walk, to sign up with them!.

OSH I agree. That's more bandwidth and storage than many of my FULLY DEDICATED servers get. I mean come on, anyone who even gets near those amounts more than likely gets cancelled.

They more than likely for instance have terms such as files must be actual html or image files being served from your website, however in another instance have resource 'cpu, ram' intensive/hogging sites will not be allowed. Guess what? You can't have both, once you start loading a site up with that much transfer and that amount of files being served you are going to tax that server into oblivion.

grim, I think it was Danny who mentioned on another thread here, that you can get that hosting plan, for that $ per month, if you sign up for 1 year in advance - or is it 2 years?

To me, that's even worse! They have your $, you tax their servers, you get thrown off, or moved to a crap server... and what are ya gonna do, leave? You've wasted alot of $. NO way.

But the sad thing is - people will, and DO, purchase that package.
