This is a good read... I had this happen to me many many moons (years) ago and learned my lesson the hard way, he must have read this.

I gave the link to a woman I am trying desperately to help as this has happened to her and she's going through it as we speak and the damn man is a Priest or something like that. It's a little draining as everyday she needs me, I am trying to show her him for what he is, but I am glad to be helping her.

Instead of talking to him, I get her to talk to me on Yahoo instead. Real creeps out there, and creepier that they teach people how to do this to another person. Not everyone is smart enough to see through it.

simple solution ... change your emails and IMs

You'd think it's that simple, in her case, she 'loves' him. When she met him she was fat, she lost all the weight and is all dependent on him. He's married, has kids, loves his family and does this thing online cause he can't perform, so he says.

Hmm... she just said something real dumb to me, so she's going to have to learn the hardway, I'll be there if she needs me.

I'm going to mention changing her email, etc and see what she says.

Our ISP sends a newsletter each month.
One month, that was their big tip.
Along with ways to change the email address with them, including a phone number if one could not do it or wanted them to do it.
I have an extra email address that I have yet to ever use through them.
Surprising that an email address never used (and a ridiculous one at that) gets spam mail every so often.

love is hard at times...but changing all contact info is the way to go if you want to avoid problmes! There are tons of nice guys out there just have to find them.

You cannot help someone who does not want to help themselves. All you can do is try to educate them, but make sure that you get your information from reliable sources.

Agreed. And she did want help, was begging for it then decided yesterday after reading that article I link here, that she did that stuff to him too. So be it, so I told her it's her decision and I'll be there to talk if she wants.

Her husband knows about it, you'd think she'd talk to him instead.
