Thread: Any visitors from less/un developed countries ?

I got a visitor from Ethiopia !.
I heard it is not a developed country and they don't have internet or not even good computers. (My friend told me this. It may be wrong.)

I would like to know, is there any visitors from African countries like Ethiopa, Sudan, Angola, Somalia etc?

There are a few from countries you normally would not get, it however is not the norm.

It is interesting to read the stats for a site.
And like you say, to see where visitors come from.

Even many asian countries fall into undeveloped countries, which brings good amount of traffic. But problem is these visitors dont have creditcard or paypal account.I guess paypal doesnt allow Ethiopian people to open a account (dont know for sure). So , even you get visitor , you wont make a sale.

But as a webmaster, Iam very happy with the fact that my site is getting few clicks from those countries too.

True, I myself do not accept payments from most countries anyways as fraud rates, verification, etc.

Those visits however can help, you never know those visitors might be a member for a forum and might place a link to your site
