I've run out of ideas - seo / link help

Hi
I'm running out of ideas in getting more links from gift related sites. I've submitted to all the decent directories I can find, have started a blog, doing article submissions. Looked at what my competitors are doing. Tried social networking sites like stumbleupon etc but don't really get it. I can't seem to get any links with a good page rank and i don't really want to pay for them or pay an seo company forever. Anyone have any ideas of what else I can try?

hmm what you need is affiliate marketing since you are into gifts

isn't that really expensive though? setup fee, monthly fee and then the commission for any sales.

You can try directory submission and more social bookmarking. May be it is helpful to you?

Blog Commenting on do follow blog site... It will help you gain some backlinks..

You could try doing a google search such as 'birthday gift link exchange' or similar you can sometimes find potential link partners that way.

If you can't get good link create your own, be a link machine aside from blogs you could also start your Gift themed Squidoo and Hub pages.

Try creating articles and submit it ti article submission sites...

you can also promote in Groups like Yahoo Groups and MSN Groups...

Try bookmark your site and your blogs .

Submit your blog to blog directories, rss directories, general directories, articles directories, do follow social bookmarks, do follow blog commenting, signature on do follow forums, squidoo, hubpages, press releases and links exchanges.
