guys... the PR checker from the tool does not work well... so check for PR with other tool(just checking a few sites with it) i will come back with more info after a littlebit of testing

I would say the best back link checker out there is Yahoo! Site Explorer - Site Explorer - Yahoo! Site Explorer . It's a little more difficult to use than some other sites but not much, and that's mostly because you can get so many options, like finding out your deep link percentage. It also seems to give more results than any other backlink checker out there, and lets you know which of the site's pages have already been indexed. Really powerful and free... what more could you ask for? I do this sort of thing for a career and usually use Google for everything else but when it comes to back link checking, it's Yahoo all the way.

Looks like a good tool, but is working very slow, I dont think that users will normally wait so long to get the results. Well I have been using Domain-Pop.com - Backlink Checker to check my backlinks.

Any one else using some other good backlink checker tool.

Thanks for the tool,nice one. But it is not actually showing all my back links

But I like the other features like links with PR,no follow etc

well i use backlinkwatch most of the time for detailed analysis and also yahoo siteexplorer for overall!!

That tool looks good. I will try i out. I use this tool when I check my backlinks: checkyourlinkpopularity.com

But I don't rely much on it.

Nice tool zereul. I also use websiteoutlook.com
It doesn't display the backlinks but tell you the exact number of backlinks.

After discussing the issue with several webmasters I have found their ideal backlink checker shows the most backlinks. Personally the only backlinks I care about are the ones which are recognized by the major search engines and will help me rise in the serps. So the only checkers I use are Google webmaster tools and yahoo's site explorer any third party site may show more or diffrent ones, but they will also more than likely show backlinks which are not helpful.

I copy this post...absolutely yahoo all the way for checking backlinks. The most reliable source.

Same is the case with me...I had been using it for long, but when I came to know about Yahoo's Site Explorer. I gave a thumbs down to backlink watch and adopted Site Explorer.
I noticed an issue with the tool suggested here by the thread starter: When I select 1000 links per page, it never loads.

Sure I did and saw the results. It's really nice with all those anchor texts showing up. So what do you think, is it reliable?
