Thread: How many backlinks?

How many backlinks per day or per week, will Google take as natural link building and not punish for acquiring too many backlinks?
Can anyone help in this regard?

I don't think there is a certain number. In my niche someone could break a good piece of gossip first and everyone is linking to than overnight them days or mo, could go by and boom another tons over night.

There is no particular number on how many backlinks that you should build in a day. Google also knows if you're doing automated linkbuilding or manual linkbuilding. No worries.

I agree that we can't talk about the certain number of links. Google, from my point of view knows, what your links are and their quality. So you should work as usual.

It doesn't matter about the quantity instead the quality. But I'm doing 50 backlinks every day except weekends.

you can build upto 350 links and not in thousands.. this is good number,.. I build these many links for my site..

Google can't really tell if a site is getting natural backlinks or not. As long as it is cming from different IPs, GOogle will consider it as unique.

To look up links for your site link:www.example.com, or if you want to see any link with your domain kewords, got linked:www.example.com.

The link: is direct backlinks that have been indexed by Google. It takes a few weeks for them to show up generally.

Remember that the internet is a great place in that a particular web-page or website can become a massive hit over-night.

The thing to remember is, IMO, quality over quantity.

You should have quality backlinks for your site, it is very important... doing the right techniques will surely increase your backlinks...

I do not believe there is a limit to how many backlinks you can make by yourself, (steadily) but if you build a suddenly huge number of backlinks in one day, you will get penalized. That only happens if you buy one of those social bookmarking packages that deliver 200 bookmarks in 24 hours. Just avoid those kinds of packages, and you will be completely fine. There is no way you can be hurt by links, you don't control them. Google has said so themselves.

The more the better! no exact number of backlinks, just continue on building more and more quality backlinks and it all worth it.

You can start with some 1-2 links and end on some 50-100 links daily it depends from domain and also from quality of this links, you can give more links after some time

I don't think there's a limit to the number of backlinks you can build. If you stop acquiring backlinks, your competitors will out link you and you end up sliding of the first page. Link building is a life-long process - you need to keep doing it.

That said, it makes good sense to invest in good quality links and not just any links - including those acquired through automated means.

Remember, don't build for Google, but focus on quality for your users.

Too many backlinks too quickly will get you into trouble. You don't want to overdo backlinks because they will penalize you. Go slowly. I've never been penalized but I only create 3-5 backlinks every 3-5 days.

I dont think their is no limit for getting backlinks because the more backlinks you getting the better it would be.

In my experience it depends on your consistency. For example if you create 1000 backlinks each day for a week, then don't completely stop building backlinks for a whole month or more. Keep building the links at a similar pace...

There is not any rule for making back link per day for better result, its every thing is in your hand, more back link results better in ranking.

i think there is no certain limit for links . You can get unlimited number of links but you need to make sure that you are using different Anchor text among them .I looks more neutral.If you have an old site then you can go for as many link as you wish for ,but in neutral manner .New site can be penalized for big number of link but not alway s

i think is good to get as many baclinks as you can per week. maybe google will bann you. From what i know too many baclinks is suspicious. it's good to have all you website pages indexed by the search engine

Link-building is a natural process and on-going. I wouldn't come out of the gate with a new site with tons of links. However, you should strive to do link-building for one to two hours each day Monday through Friday. It can seem daunting, but the results will pay off with high search engine ranking results.

No one can tell you the exact number. You can post as much as possible. Important one is choose the best site for linking, Good PR site with less external linking. Choose the only relevant category for submissions.

Their is no such Limitation on how much backlink you should build per day.I carry out 100 Directory Submissions,25 Article Submissions,30 Forum Postings,20 Blog Comments,20 Bookmarking,25 Classifieds,15 Press Release,etc..Link Exchange once a month.I have not faced any problem so far with the task i carry out for my SEO per day.

there is no such limit in obtaining backlinks, for example in one SEO firm there are 2 link builders but another firm contain 100 backlink building, and they are thinking that we have to slow down our work because we are too many for backlinking, there is nothing, if there was a limit then google must mention this in SEO Guidelines

it were only this easy! There are way too many variables to answer such a question. Sites with fewer backlinks constantly win out over those with greater numbers of backlinks.

Don't get me wrong, backlinks are definitely important; they just don't count for everything. Content, keyword relevancy, trust, traffic volume and a whole lot more gets figured into algo calculations.

It can be infinite but quality ones.

For me, its 25-30 backlinks per day from various sources and not more than that. If you try to build backlinks in bulk you will see an adverse effect in rankings. So, it is better to get backlinks from high PR, high authority and most importantly within the content.

According to my point of view, you need to get as many links as possible but by keeping the quality of links high. Link quality means you should get links from domains or sub domains which are related to your niche. This thing improves your ranking quickly.
