How many banklinks are counted from the same forum?

I would like to know, if one was to post 100 links in a single forum on different threads, does google count only one of the links as a quality backlink or all of them?

Assuming ofcourse, that all of them are indexed...

If you posted in different threads then each backlink would come from a different URL and have its own weight. The question is do they weigh the same as links from different sites? Probably not.

They all get counted, yes.

That's why article marketing is quite powerful sometimes since you can get good backlinks from a PR5-6+ homepage site.

But as CountryBoy says, they wouldn't all have the same weight as if you had different backlinks from different sites.

Suppose one was to post the same (exact) article on two different article directories. Would Google lower the value of the backlink because of duplicate content, or not??

This is an oft-discussed topic. People used to think so, however Google recently said they have *no* duplicate content penalty:

Hence I think, based on what they said, that they would count the backlinks from both.

I believe they would have the same PR worth, although you'd end up with lots of supplementary results on the search engines if you did that. Most people like to avoid this situation.

They are still counted as many but not that relevant. It can be imp-ortant if the pages have high PR over the other.

no, i got great experience making duplicate content for backlinks... (SEO is just about trial and error, just do what you think is right ) :happy-f::happy-f:

I am suggested with your this information..............I listed a wide variety of SEO forums because some people like one more than another. Which forums are right for you sorta depend on your skill level, your personality, and your goals out of the forums.
