Default I'm not asking for the farm..

But what I'd like to know is what are some of the practices that most of you are doing these days as far as finding new blogs, forums, bookmarking sites, article sumbitting and such?

Like I said, I don't expect straight answers but maybe a shove, a hint, in the right direction?

It's my shot in the dark question...I just seem to be stumbling upon the same old forums, blogs, etc.

    Thanks!

    I'm lazy.
I usually pay my $10 and get someone else to do all the article submitting, forum posting and blog commenting. The price is worth it for the time I save.

If I was to do it the hard way I would do the following:
    - Search with Google Blog Search for similar blogs to comment on. You could also use a dofollow search engine to do this.
    - Google different forums to join and post at.
    - Search the large webmaster forums for recommended social bookmarking sites, directories and article submission sites.

In the past I have also purchased blog articles. They used to be really cheap, like 100 posts on different blogs for $10, but now they're harder to come by. If you do that it is better to have the articles spun for uniqueness. Spun articles don't read as well for humans as they do search engines!

    Hi,

I don't mean to be a killjoy but when ever I hired someone most of the time for blog commenting is crap. You really should do that yourself. I have never found a good one.

Google is a great tool for finding blogs and forums and directories to place your links. Just Google "Dofollow" and you'll probably find someone who has posted a list of blogs and forums. Also learn the tricks of searching using Google. Google "google search operators" for help in searching.

Google blog search and set it up to notify you when new blog posts are indexed that matches your keyword criteria. I have a list that I use regularly. There is nothing wrong with using the same old sites, especially if they are high quality ones.
