The internet has become a valuable business marketing tool. It allows your business the opportunity of being viewed throughout the world. Whilst this might not necessarily be your realistic target market, there is no question that a well-designed, professional looking website can make a difference.

What the original poster said has nothing to do with outsourcing web development!

My assumption would be that some companies may opt to have someone else, who is not a company employee development their website for them.

This can be ideal, if you just need a one-time set-up website with a set amount of pages and content.

But outsourcing could be expensive if you need to create dynamic sites that change everyday and contain 100's of webpages!
