Downside for me. You need to be smart enough to know the answers to 14,600 questions without spamming

haha. That is something we have to be careful on. Don't write wrong answers. You will get banned quickly if you try to help people cure the cancer. You can't just answer that question with "dont get cancer in the first place"..

Very nice list of forums. And I have to agree with others here that it's very important that when you participate in a community (especially a bulk number of them) that you genuinely contribute to the thread topics. I'm a member of a few communities and I also own, administrate, & moderate, 2 forums myself. So i know how much of a pain it is first hand to have to deal with bulk spam & post padding comments.

My suggestion to anyone looking to join a bulk amount of forums is that you research each topic & think before you post. Do a little research on the thread topic before posting & compile an insightful reply that others can benefit from.

Ideally you should try to post 1-3 paragraphs in each reply and not just one liners like "Nice post", "Great info", Thanks for the article", "That was helpful". Etc.. It's one liners that will get your posts deleted & possibly an account ban.

Most forum owners understand that content is king, the more quality content they have, the more likely someone will find them in the search engines for a long tail key phrase.

Thanks for the list, I'm currently working on another list of about 300, it takes such a long time to iron out all the bad ones.

This isn't on my list of bad ones,

It does get hard to find something interesting to say.

Superb list but its a bit of a shame your writer didn't list them under the niche they are in, or put it next to each link, it would have made it far easier to go through

I thought any forum you go to, generally provides follow signature links. I haven't seen any who don't. Am I really that out of the loop? Nice list anyhow.

Generally most do but that list also sorts it into PR as well!

These are a huge list of forums and very important to each of us but I really don't know if you can manage at least 10 forums. I am active to 5 forums only including WTF but honestly i can't manage to visit the these sites everyday and post at least 2 good post.

Surely making 2 good posts takes roughly 15 minutes, and if you visit 10 forums thats only 2.5 hours work for 20 backlinks/day

MySpace is relatively dead, although it still has a high PR so you could gain good links from it
