In you opinion what is the best . Have 1 high PR8 link, 3 pr4 links or to have 1,000 backlinks of PR0 to PR2

Well, seeing that there are more PR0 sites on page 1 of google, & More PR0 sites that make more money than PR8 sites, I would go with the 1,000 backlinks from PR0 & PR2 sites. PR is a metric that has no impact on what a site generates in revenue (Which is why we are in business in the first place, to make money).
1,000 Properly anchored backlinks can help a site with their conversions goals way more than 1 PR8 link in my opinion. PR now days is only good for people trying to sell Links, Ad space, Or websites, so that they have something to try & make it look better for a higher price tag when the site itself doesn't make any money.
To me though (as a businessman), I only value sites based on the revenue they actually generate every month & Not PR.![]()
Well, even many says PR is not that important but still many wants to have a high PR. A strong backlinks will determine how high your PR carries. having a PR 8 meaning you have a strong backlinks.
Now you are asking which are the best. I want PR 8 and to have the 1,000 Strong backlinks

Hi,
I do not believe the PR is worth anything. I did a small test one time I took a new site. The site I only got 5 backlinks for it All five were dofollow PR 8. Those were the only links the site has when the new PR update happened. The site was rated PR1
I also did another test on another new site. I got around 150/200 NO follow links every link that site got was NO follow. I did this as a test. Yet when the PR update happened that site was PR3.
Do your own test PR is worthless do and NO follow mean nothing. Backlinks alone are not the key. What is the key I do not know.

I agree with you Sami. I made a test on fashion blogs which I never optimized but since i left my email on that blog, there are some who contacted me for link exchange and they have a good PR some has 4PR and mostly PR 2. now my fashion blogs remain in PR 2, and I'm happy with the result because i don't have any effort.
Your PR8 link is best, unless there are hundreds of other links on that page.
Just remember that pagerank is on a logarithmic scale, so a PR8 link would probably be better than 1,000 PR4 links (assuming all pages had an even amount of outgoing links).
Yeah but if you loose the PR8 backlink you end up with empty hands. With several backlinks everything is covered and is it very hard to loose it.
i think 1 pr8 link and 3 pr 4. best combination. i heard around that i link from a high pr is better than a pr 0-2. anyway i think the do follow attribute is more important.
If what you want if quality links then the first option is the best way to go...![]()

I prefer a site with a backlink from 1000 PR 8![]()
i would choose a pr8 backlink please...

Backlink good and qualified:
1. Having a high PageRank, the higher the better
2. Coming from a different ip address
To determine the backlinks which are the most optimal, based on the above criteria is up to yourself.
I would go with the 1000 backlinks, itīs true that the PR8 link gives you pagerank juice. But the 1000 links gives you more traffic, that might link to your site and share the link.
And pagerank shows the strength if your backlink, and not your site. Not saying that itīs useless.! My experience is that the higher your pagerank is, the more users are prone to click on you links/ads.
After one of my sites went from a PR1 to PR3, the click rate increased with about 30%.
According to me the 3 backlink from an PR4 website.I believe these are the best Quality backlink you can get amongst all of them listed above.
