Thread: How do I get more visitors to my blog?

I have created a new blog about video games and reviews. The only problem is: I don’t have any traffic! I haven't done any promotion yet.
Just came across some traffic providers to buy traffic like 1888traffic or blogger traffic network like 2spots.com, are they ok to use?
Can anyone tell some nice ways to get visitors on my blog?

Post good content and they will come. It takes time.

If you make good SEO you will get SE traffic. Content is the king, so add original content with nice pictures and submit your posts to widget blog networks like 2spots and 2leepm they send lots of traffic to the blogs with interesting pics. You can also use social bookmarking networks like Twitter and FB

try to promote it on several social networking sites and ask for some friends help to share your link to others. Make sure that it's worth reading so you'll get more traffic

Good content = original and informative content, written for people and not just for SE bots.

If you can write quality original content on a regular basis then the search engines and visitors will find your site.

There's no quick fixes I'm afraid - you've got to keep writing, keep link building and keep spreading the word about your sites. Anyone who relies on bought in traffic is on a hiding to nothing - as soon as their money runs out so does their traffic.

You can use social networking sites for this and may ask your friends too to promote your blog through their accounts. You will get traffic with time. but don't stop regular posting.

Anyway, since the blog is about video game reviews, why don't you try to promote it on youtube? I've seen a lot there and the number of hits were really big, depending on the quality of the videos.

It takes time... remember we are talking about google... There are millions of page out there.. it takes time.. patience

Do you have a Twitter account? Tweet every post and so long as your followers have similar interests (which they should), you will gain more traffic that way..

You also should not forget the unique content to the blog

you can easily start you SEO campaign, go different seo TACTICS,, BUT AT the starting dont place maximum links, because may be google consider them as spam..so go with slow and gradual work at the starting.

Many ways to promote your blog, but there are chances to not to get the fast results.. The 1st and foremost thing is to update your blog on regular basis with unique content.. And then take advantage of Social Media keep posting your blog updates in Social Networking Sites like Facebook, Tweeter, Linked etc.. First of all you must promote your blog through social media sites and through forums then you will get visitors

optimize your blog, use plugins like 'all in one seo'. also promote it on social networks to get traffic.

I agree with you at some extent because comment on relevant blogs are also healthy signs to bring more traffic as well as rank early.
