    It is a free tool and easy to use, any of you used them before?

    what's the link to the tool?

    Its best to submit your site to google yahoo and msn to check what results they give you. you may want to use a number of free tools out there to get a better idea of your back links as results vary between different tools

    Use a social bookmarking tool like the Delicious bookmarklet. Takes less than 3 seconds to save a backlink. No special software required. : P

    Used bookmarkwiz if you want backlinks from the bookmarking sites. This software is efficient can submits the story to good PR bookmark sites.

    keeping track of your backlinks:

    You mean the ones you get yourself?
    Excel works well for this if you want to keep track.
    Sitename, URL, Date Submitted, as headers.
