Default Will this site be considered for buying links from?

    Hi everyone,

I have made a website based on "Website Tags". This is my website TagsBucket

I want to know that right now it has NO PageRank because I recently launched it but as the time goes on and I will promote it heavily and it will get a PageRank (let say PR4) then can I sell links on that site?

Will anybody purchase links from me or only .com .net .info ...etc these domain names are considered for buying links, not .googlepages.com ??

I just want to make sure that if people can purchase links from ANY source then I should do the promotion of it otherwise should not spend time on it.

Hope you guys are getting my point.

    Thank you

The only problem I would ever have is simple.
Build on a free hosting or free pages from google, the future is dim.
What if google pulls this freebie?
I avoid anyone or any site built on free hosting/free google pages because that means they are not serious about having a real website.

No, it is better to build on your own domain with your own hosting.

Thanks Iowadag... I myself is thinking that I should make my own website that should be a .com so that people can trust and can buy links.

But still want to see what other thinks about my site

Another problem I see is that people don't buy links from tag clouds anymore, only if its from a trusted person or in a subdomain of a trusted site and it has a PR6+ and even then they sell very cheap $1-$5

I say don't waste your time with tag clouds unless you do something out of the ordinary tag cloud

Actually you guys are right... Ok, so I am not going to do extra promotion for this tagsbucket site, but keeping it on a side (may be it get a good PR)

I think I should concentrate more on my LinksBucket site. I have done more effort on it and the result is that people are coming to my site and submitting links almost daily

I have purchased the domain linksbucket.com and with the help of my friend I have installed the phpld script there but it has some problems and since I don't know php I can't fix them, so I am dependent on my friend. I am thinking that I should make the same pages like Linksbucket.googlepages.com in HTML and upload it on linksbucket.com. Getting my point?

I can play with HTML but not with php so it will be good if I do my work on my own instead of asking my friend every time i need help. He will help me one time, two time, four times... but not every time.

Just for your information, I would not even consider putting my links on googlepages.com domain even if it was free,

I don't know, you can consider that prejudice ...

    Exactly!

Owning the site shows more of a commitment and at least appears to be not fly-by-night.

You could use that free one and point it at a real site that you have hosted. The real site is the one that you could use instead.
