Thread: Proxy Advertising

I am looking for the best ways to advertise a proxy. So far, I have advertised through MySpace Bulletins, Forum Signatures and Social Bookmarking. Are there any other advertising methods (free) which are best for proxies?

Several good places to advertise I own.
PTC sites, an ad board, etc.

I have a proxy site and as soon as I find good hosting, will be using all the above, plus a few more other ptc sites.

try ranking sites and try to bring the rank up as much as possible.. that helped when I was running proxy networks.

post to topsites, lots of free traffic come from them. Just do a search on google.

I heard rule number 1 for proxies is to be listed at proxy.org. The except free listings for a reciprocal.
