Thread: Opt-in Maillists

Anyone know where I can find specific email lists? I'm looking to do some promotion for a site that I recently created, and a friend of mine said that for years he has used a double opt-in maillist. But having him cross promote my website because his list isn't targeted toward my audience.

You already know this, I'm sure, but be careful where you get that list.
Really research the person selling it thoroughly.

I'm sure that a list that was harvested from websites has been sold as a double opt-in list more than once.

I would NOT trust any list I did not build myself to be honest.

It's tough. I'd have to really know and trust the person I got it from.

Another way to market to keep in mind.
Find newsletter/ezines in the niche of your site.
Advertise in them.
