Thread: No spot in web directorys for my site

Hello. My website is just for the local counties in my area. Eventually it is going to be a local news/ yellow pages. One of my biggest problems is I don't know how to market it online to get more traffic. I need to get traffic so that I can tell these business to advertise with me. I tried to do directories, but there is no niche that describes my local site. Anyone with any clues?

Then try and find a more general category to place it in, such as "business"... many web directory owners will move it to the appropriate category.

Yup. Just submit it to the closest possible category. Some directories will also let you suggest a category.
