Thread: Got Effective Article Submission Tips?

So I have been submitting my articles to the major article directories, I think I have a pretty good tactic, but I still haven't seen any traffic from it. Is article submission the way to go, or have you guys found something else out to generate traffic?

Article submission, like submitting your links to directories, is mostly there for the backlinks.
Depending on the directory and your article, you may get traffic now and again.
If the article is very good, it may get picked up by bloggers, webmasters, and newsletters.

Like right now, I have someone who writes articles about domains and hosting.
Since I have a blog about those, I told him I would post them for him.

Directories are considered as only for backlinks. Articles can bring some traffic.
Making variations in descriptions, anchor texts can be a lot help while doing submissions.
I bet your submitter knows these stuff.
