Question OEMPro Email Marketing - Hosts?

Does anyone know of a host or a way of finding a host that would support the OEMPro software? OEMPro is a php / database driven email marketing software which will allow you to do mass mailings, generate reports, etc.. At the moment the comany I'm at is paying someone $100 per mailing which is kind of a rip off. We want to keep it off site for bandwidth reasons but we really only do maybe two or three mailings a month. I would estimate that there's maybe 15,000 email addresses on the master list, so a mailing from us could theoretically be that large.

I saw some french company that will do it for ~= 35/mo but we're trying to keep it in the USA so I can't use them.

    Anyone?

If it's not a 'spam' list why couldn't you host it most anywhere? Bandwidth should not be that much.

My main list sends to almost 8k, uses barely any bandwidth. Does tax the cpu a bit, 'but' you should be able to throttle the program to trickle the emails out.

Funny. It's not for spam emails, it's for newsletters and sales emails that we send out to our current customers as well as prospects.

My initial search didn't indicate any servers that would allow it, and I've also never personally used the software so I'm unsure of what the server requirements are (cron, perl, cgi, etc.). The software is $295 and I can't test it out unfortunately without actually buying it, which is why I'm trying to find a decent host.

Well I don't use the software, I use phplist I think it's called. I however have no problem with using it.

My best suggestion, find a host you like 'pricing, reviews, etc' and simply ask them if they will allow it
