Part of truly developing a brand--whether that's yourself or your blog--is coming-up with a well-rounded strategy that includes offline marketing.
What sort of offline marketing do you do to help spread the word about your brand?

My "day job" is one that is traditionally marketed offline. Postcards, flyers, business cards, word of mouth.... I do a little of each, however I have found that greatest successes have come from using offline marketing to drive potential clients online to then use my website(s) to close the deal for me.
Word of mouth to friends is pretty much it but I have thought about putting out signs and all that but haven't because never have before so not sure how well it would work out.
Thanks for the feedback, guys!
I probably should've specified that this is for mostly online initiatives. Many folks who "live" online forget that offline efforts are still important, and can help enhance and build a well-rounded online brand.
One thing I know is posting stickers in comfort rooms. But I haven't tried this strategy. Anyone?;-)
Offline marketing is a costly affair. You need to aware of this vital issue. If your targeted market is you locality, offline marketing is a must but if you aim to get order from other areas too, you can not ignore the importance of online marketing.
I don't do any offline marketing at all.

I use 5X3 inchglossy cards that are double-sided with all of the info. Sometimes it stands out better than handing people a business card. I give them to customers to give to people they know. Car door magnets with your company URL and other info are good, too. It also helps to just talk to people and tell then what you do.

Hi,
I do a fair bit of public speaking. It certainly helps create a strong relationship with people/companies and my experience is that they are more likely to take the action I want them to after hearing me than from any single online approach alone.
All the best, Jed.
Try wrapping your car. I had a friend who did this and she already has made her month back in just a few months. I was a great wrap job though.
Word of Mouth or Viral Marketing is really one way of promoting your website offline. As well as posters, stickers, flyers, business cards and more...
But unfortunately, I don't really get the chance to promote my site offline as often as I could.
For me, offline marketing strategy is not as effective as online marketing.

Since the target of my site can be in my local, I also do direct marketing, Word of mouth to friends, stickers & giving of flyers. Helpful to get local conversions.
Business cards
i use big stickers on my cars![]()
Since my site is a national site not a regional one, I use post cards and the telephone to contact potential clients. Monthly newsletters work well too, but I have since moved those to email distribution.
when you do business online your target group is supposed to have access and use internet. No need any offline marketing?
Well, my products are all online. So i dont really feel to market it offline.
For offline marketing and promotion I prefer to use the method which is absolutely free and which is called "Oral advertizing from mouth to mouth" - you are to stimulate th discussion sbout your product by all your acquaintances, and by social network websites as well. This technique brings positive results, I must say.
