I agree with everything, but i think that spelling is the most important as it's very annoying when you find mistakes in the email. You feel as if you are not respected.

Yes it could help especially in telling an additional information about what you are promoting. But seems email marketing now don't give a huge traffic. I will prefer my time to participate in social networks to promote my product.

I can provide one more tip - remember to congratulate your customers and clients with their burthdays and also with some common holidays such and Christmas and New Year. It will be really pleasant for them

You obviously still don't understand what email marketing is about. It is not for driving traffic, but for promoting your products, sites and affiliate programmes. If driving traffic is your focus, I would suggest you stick with the social networking stuff. That should help with traffic.

If you are not already making any decent sales through email marketing, I think now is the right time to start considering it.

Opt in email marketing is EXCELLENT and targeted. Makes me wonder if you were using non opt in, or some other form of damn near spam

Correct. It is amazing how many do not even get delivered if you use one of those fancy html email templates.

Good points, but I also feel like it can be the other way around. This applys to friends rather than marketing, but people who never return emails are rude. That annoys me. I no longer take the time to write someone who is not willing to take two seconds out of thier day for a reply. Even a quick once sentence reply is fine.
