Hi,

I had this video made for me.

Never done this before so how do I market it?

What are things that need to be done to get it seen?

Is it by making a PowerPoint presentation and then somehow capturing it?

Hi,

I did not make it. I gentleman from Canada made it for me.

Yes he made it in PowerPoint. but how I do not know. It was a small fee compared to other that make videos. But you can tell the difference. He has gotten better after this was made he keep learning as he goes.

I wish I knew how I would try to make some of my own.

Try to do keyword research and use it to optimize. The more views the better the visibility. As far as I know there is a software that uses proxies to increase the views of a new youtube video I just forgot the title. I'm sorry.

I would lengthen the title just a little to there are more keywords which can be searched for. Having a detailed description/info section for the video also generates more searches. Something else I would do is place the URL in the bottom corner throughout the whole thing just in case some people stop watching it. Google also gives better SERP positions to sites with video embedded, from what I hear. So you could include this video on the site, since it does explain what the site is about. Either that or make a new video for embedding purposes. The video was good overall, but I noticed he mispronounced the the URL near the end.

Probably by using something like "Camtasia Studio" (screen capturing software). I used to know a few people who use it to make video tutorials.

Well I recommend submitting it to more video submission sites. I think that a lot of people forget about the other video sites out there, there are hundreds of them. Try some of the other video sites too!

Here are some tips.

1.Use Video as a Portal to other Content on Your Site - Upload a couple of videos to portals like YouTube and provide links back to related content and other videos on your site.

2. Optimize your video for Important Key Phrases - You might want to optimize your video for terms users are likely to be searching for. Tag your video with these terms, consider naming the file name of the video with these terms in mind.

3. Provide Transcripts of your Videos - Good old HTML content is still a favorite with the search engines. If you want your video to rank well, you need to give the search engines something to index and rank. Surround your videos with onpage copy that can be indexed by the search engines.

4. Tag Your Videos - tag your videos with key phrases that are reflective of the content.

An idea: why not to use a youtube video as a subsidiary method of online promotion and optimization?
