If i may ask, what are other website marketing strategies apart from forum submission. I need your contributions.

Blog posts and article submissions are great.
you can also increase your website marketing by doing Ad campaign or PPC.

Directory submission,press release,blog commenting and link exchange is other website marketing strategies.

I can advice you to write small articles on topic of your website and submit them to other sites with the same topic or on the forums with the same topic.

Offline marketing can also be used to promote your website, including passing out business cards, etc.

Been having good results but having my URL in my bio (such as Twitter and other social places)!

Link exchane is an excellent technique! But you should try to exchange links with pages that are related to you in content or purpose. T

(as opposed to exchanging links with a gambling website when yours is about flowers).

Everything is fine for marketing, just directory submission is not widely used. Rest are Good!

Depending on your niche, press release can be very powerful.

There are many strategies that you can use in internet marketing. I have used most of these and they drive a lot traffic to a website. Posting reviews, press releases, article submissions with keyword optimized work best.

Create profiles on various sites and fill all the details in the profile . They will ask for your Homepage URL. Put your website URl there. This is one of the best & legiotimate technique.

Link exchange if the other website can agree, can be a quick way of shooting up in the rankings
