Thread: Critique my flyer please.

I am about to diversify my Home Pet Food delivery business into Pet Sitting. I was wondering if you could critique the following. (sorry I've been a stranger, but I've been lurking.. )

I did up a flyer on MS Publisher.

Dude, I'm in the wrong business! :laugh: Did you forget a decimal or two?

The flier looks good, the only improvement advice I see is make the front jump out more. Picture your flier in a pile with 50 others... What's going to make someone pick up yours? Maybe some more color, perhaps print it on colored paper.

Some pictures of real dogs would be better then clipart.

this looks good already trapper. Like what Danny said, you just need a bit more eye candy on the front to catch attention.

Looking good Trap have you thought about creating it in Photoshop though and adding some text to an image A4 size.

Looks good Kev I like the content and the way you map it out. I'm not sure how to add more eye candy myself, I'm horrible at design (but I do agree with the above posts). However, the content is great. Almost makes me want to get a puppy just knowing there are now people offering the quick potty break service. That could really be life changing, IMO!

Looks really nice, as already said, if you just brighten it up a bit youll definetly attract alot more attention I think. Are there some decimal places that we cant see? sounds expensive!

I hope that fee comes with a diamond studded collar for the pets!

I spruced up the colours a bit and printed 500 to start. And yes, there are some decimals that you can't see on the screen shot. Next step... website!

Maybe it's because I'm a designer, but I think it needs work. The font face on the cover is fine, but, oh man, don't get me started on Courier New. Even Times looks better. It would look better and be easier to read if it was Arial.

Watch the justification and hyphens on the inside. It makes for difficult reading when there's awkard spacing in sentences and when it's just text blocks.

I would also suggest making the service titles bold as well as the pricing. This along with the spacing would make it easier for people to differentiate services and the prices they correspond with.

Just a few suggestions.
