    Default PayPerPost

Anyone using Payperpost here? I've run two campaigns through them so far and I'm very happy with the results. I plan to advertise again any day now. I just need to figure out exactly which links I want first. One of the things that please me most about it is the ability to drop a couple hundred into the account, set up an opportunity, and have 30-40 decent blog posts with links that I specified up within a few days. To go out and try to scrounge all those myself (and track them to make sure they stay up!) is too much work.

Ive not really used them, but I have heard them, could you tell me a little bit more about your experience with them, I may just look into using them. Its just so hard to know what services to trust these days.

I know of a number of different blogging services and have tested as many as I can. Payperpost seems to be the most well rounded for both bloggers and advertisers.

From an advertisers stand point, your minimum post amount is $5. Right now that seems to be OK because there is typically less than 100 opps available to 'posties' at any given time, so the $5 opps do get taken. Although to ensure that it's taken, offering a bit more ($6-10) doesn't hurt.

They also allow you to set your own guidelines. For example:
    1. number of links
    2. anchor text(s)
    3. minimum PR of blog
    4. domain (free domain vs owned domain)
    5. required pictures
    6. required number of words on post (50-300)

It's important to be reasonable to your posties though, asking for a 300 word PR6 post and offering $5 is a bit rediculous. I mention it because I've seen it...

After creating an opp, it takes usually less than a day to get it approved. Then from an advertisers dashboard you can watch your opp and see how many posts have been made so far. It gives you links to the blogs so you can investigate and even comment on their posts if you like. It also shows you how many impressions and how many clicks their links have received for you. You can rate the posts as well on a 1-5 scale.

I think I picked up 31 GOOD posts for like $200 or just under. I'll probably invest a bit more this month. I'm on a monthly cycle so I always look forward to the beginning of the next month to create another opp!!

Look at it like this, there are 31 unique blogs now aimed at my site! (well, more than that, but 31 just from that one campaign, and it took like 3 days total). Plus the dashboard holds the info so I can go back and review blogs later too.

oh yeah, and you can set another rule... sometimes I see advertisers say "if you have linked to this domain before, don't take this opportunity" or if you've taken one of our opps in the last 30 days....

it helps you to continue to pick up new blogs.

I have a dislike for sites like this.

In my opinion it's like selling your soul to the devil hehe seriously though, if your wanting to get links then it's a okish way to get 1-way links, if your blogging for a measely $5 then it makes your blog look amateurish IMO.

It could be worse, they just recently raised the min to $5 so it used to be like $2.50 I think. And Loudlanch I think offers posts as low as $3 (not sure if they go any lighter or not).

From a bloggers perspective... firing up a decent blog for the sake of selling links isn't that hard. A person doesn't have to use the personal blog that they pour their heart and soul into. But the guidelines required for a blog to be allowed in the program are pretty easy to meet with a 2nd or 3rd (or 5th) blog.

I would likt make y addition and experience as well, there is a site got a great name in the field of Paid Posting. They have been offering their services with great quality as well as they are providing services @ reall 50% Less than the normal companies are offering.

If you want to get more information about that company and want to promote your forums with great feedback and quality, than please hit me a PM. I don't want to advertise the real gem in the open market.

    Try this new one.
It seems to be paying out quite good.

PayPerPost have launched a new feature recently where they allow you to target bloggers whos blogs have a certain amount of visitors each day, instead of just pagerank, which really doesn't mean much.

Actually Phil, it does. If someone just ran some black hat techniques and got a high fake PR, then an actual traffic could could definitely help.

I here that. Some of the posts can turn your blog into rubish fast.
