Compile a shortlist of possible domains you are considering. Try to include a keyword if possible. When you have your list, call out each name and see if it trips off your tongue.
Keep it short, easy to remember and easy to spell. Make it distinct so it is not mistaken for another DN. Select a name relative to your business, check to see that it is available, and register it right away. Be sure the name is not already trademarked.
Purchase other domain extensions i.e. .com, .biz, .net. to eliminate the possibility of someone else using your name with another extension.
Avoid the use of hyphens. If you have your heart set on a name you can use the hyphen to set it apart but doing so is asking for trouble (having to say "hyphen" every time you verbalize the name, possible legal --trademark--repercussions from the other domain name holder).
If possible select a name that contains your sites keywords, avoid using numbers (so you won't have to continually explain that the number is used not the spelling of the number).
Yes, it is the first important step to choose the batter keyword.
You can choose domain name on niche related keywords by using google keyword tool. check highly search keyword and use in domain if not available then you can use another.

The shortness of the domain and how it relates to your business or web site is very important in my opinion. You don't want a long domain no one remembers or a domain name that has NOTHING to do with your web site's purpose.
Hi all,
According to me that while the choosing the domain you consider the oldest one because the old one has the maximum experience also that should be the shortest for the keeping the remember domain name.
Thanks.....
You may choose a domain name that says what the site is all about. But before you do that, you have to study and analyze the best keywords that you'll be using since domain name will be your site's main identity for a long time
