Default Getting my philosophy forum more popular

I have been helping to moderate this philosophy forum for a couple of years now and I've been racking my brains trying to make it more popular.

Traffic is decent as I rank high on Google for that keyword but I can't seem to get enough traffic for people to click on my banners.

I was thinking about adding philosophy videos to the forum or changing how it looks.

Can anyone give me suggestions on how to get a philosophy website more popular considering the challenge that its a small niche in the internet.

Oh, here is the link if you want to check it out: Philosophy Forum - Philosophy Questions & Answers, Discussions

well, it sounds like you are more interested in monetizing it & getting conversions rather than more traffic that doesn't click on anything. Have you thought about using inline text ads like webtalkforums does here? WebTalkForums & myself use inline text ads with Pay Per Click Advertising - In Text Ads for Websites by Infolinks . I can honestly say that using both adsense & infolinks that my conversions have doubled & sometimes triple.

If it's just traffic you need, well, you can do more of the basics such as but not limited to: Blog commenting, forum posting, Guest book signing, directory submitting, article submitting, classifieds ads, Yahoo answers, Bing Answers, AOL Answers, Paid ads, Link exchanges, banner exchanges, hand out business cards, post flyers, e-mail campaign, etc, etc.. the list goes on & on... You are also more than welcome to look through my comprehensive list of 240 Marketing tips & ideas checklist . You might find a few there that you haven't tried yet, it's assorted with both online & offline marketing efforts in order to promote a website.
