    Ads on Proxys

hey all, I was wondering what most of you do to make money off of your proxys? (adsense is out of the picture) I am making about 20k uniques/mo with about 1mil page views/mo. and about $6 from skycpm

Any better suggestions? and do you all put ads on your proxified pages as well?

    thanks

Proxies are a waste of time and resources.
There was a time when I owned about 30 proxy sites. But i didn't renew my domains because It isn't worth the effort and money. Even if you use adsense you will get a ctr of below 1% because mostly the proxy users are them selves webmasters and they don't click on ads.

Yes. That's how I use my free proxies to promote my paid proxy service. I guess some ad networks allow ads on proxified pages while others don't.

The AdSense CTR and per-click value are both very low in the proxy niche. It's a good thing I offer a paid proxy service and use my free proxies to leverage that. I think finding a good affiliate program will be helpful for proxy webmasters who are not satisfied with AdSense. I plan on starting one.

That's not true. There are millions of hungry proxy users, many of whom just want to unblock web sites or browse privately. Some live in oppressive countries that don't allow them to access free speech sites and other popular sites.
