i have few website, including blogs, web directories, adult websites etc, my question is how i can monetize my website to earn sufficient.

my websites have good traffic..alexa rank from 50000 - 450000..

Wow! If your ranking is that high you should be able to make some $$. Set up affiliate links, amazon ads and adsense. There are so many ways to monetize your blog. The IPK product is pretty good and so is Bring the Fresh if you want some direction in this dept.

50k is a great ranking and very marketable.
Most people use AdSense (assuming content is safe).
I usually recommend a combination of AdSense and AdBrite inlines - gives you a double revenue stream, earning about 50% more than AdSense alone.
High traffic also suggests you'll do well with affiliate programs or selling links directly (check my sig below).

Best way to monetize is to keep testing. Test by using differing money making banner ads, plus also changing the way you show them via alterning the locations, amount of ads per page, colors, etc.

I like affiliate marketing. For example, on your web directories, place some ads of services offering directory submissions. You can be an affiliate and make money.

You have to test. Monetization strategies vary from niche to niche. For instance, something that works on a family site will not work for and adult site.
