Thread: Site disappear from msn search engine

Hello there,

I have problem with msn search engine. After first submit of my site msnbot successfully indexed it, but few days later my site totally disappear from msn! I thought my site may be not met with msn requirement so it was removed.
Then I decided to sign up on webmaster.msn.com to see what was happened. I verified my site successfully, verified results shows that 'found no indexed pages' and block domain-no'.

I read webmaster guideline but didn't find anything wrong to my site which could be reason for disqualifying my site.
Do you guys have any idea what it could be?

Same problem with Google. It always happen. I guess you should wait and be patience. I think it will be indexed again by MSN.

Make sure your Robots.txt file is not blocking the search engine from crawling your site. Also make sure your Robots Meta tag is set to 'index,follow'.

Do you have a sitemap? If you do, I recommend submitting it to MSN via their webmaster tools site: Webmaster Center - Live Search.

Continue to work on getting quality back links from sites that are indexed frequently by the search engines.

Other than that I agree with Zeruel. Working with MSN requires some patience. MSN can be difficult at times to get listed in and it really just takes time.

I don't think it is about robot.txt. I created my robot.txt by google. and it is not blocking any bot to crawl my pages. yes I have my site map and I already signed-up for msn webmaster tools and submitted my sitemap. but the result is same.
last week I resubmitted my site this time with another url where I'm hosting as sub-domain and msn bot indexed it within 4/5 days. I'm waiting to see whats going on near future. Is msn has any problem with park domain?

Like google, MSN or Bing also give importance to new contents.

Give it a few more weeks, it might reappear
