Microsoft PubCenter? Alternative to Adsense?

I was just reading about this on Randy Brown's blog.

Seems as if Microsoft has come up with something that they think will rival Adsense. What do you think? Is this going to to be serious competition for Adsense, or just a miserable failure for MSN? :goofy:

Can anyone compete with the Google Gods? :energetic:

IMO I don't think msn can beat Google because we all know that Google is the number one trusted by all

Microsoft will probably become a good competitor but I doubt it will take over from being the best (well, not anytime soon anyway).

Give it a year and it'll probably be up there with adsense and yahoo publisher network competing like the 3 companies always do.

Ha they actually competing with yahoo on who'll have the longest US only beta..... Another BS is the four times payout review on techcrunch.

From what I understand, it's been in the works in private beta. Only a select few webmasters were using the ads. Just today it has gone into public beta. Still only available to US publishers, but I am sure they are hoping to go worldwide eventually.
