I'm No.1 in MSN for tons of keyword terms, but yet, they drive very little traffic to my websites. Why do you think this is? Do you use MSN to complete your searches, and if so why?

Darren, I notice I get a lot of traffic to most my sites from MSN, so I am liking them a lot. I don't get around to checking my keywords in them but I am sure it's pretty good.

Id' like to dig "deeper" and find out if it's specific niches that do well in MSN.
All of my travel sites do poor on MSN.
Does anyone else do well in MSN.
WebTalk, are your keywords web design related?

No, not only web design. My Paris Hilton blog gets a fair bit of it's traffic from MSN. I'd have to check out my other sites to see how they're fairing in MSN.

Can I check out Paris Hilton please?![]()

Let me congratulate you for being no.1 for keywords in MSN but honesty, traffic from there has shrunk alot, more so because of their unreliable search results in past and over reliance of people on google.
So, you can enjoy being number one there, but don't expect much traffic from there.
Even i rank no. 1 for few keywords but then I don't get much traffic from there, same as you. Google is the one which sends me lot lot more than Yahoo+MSN.
Need I say more?![]()

I do well for a lot of my keywords on MSN. (too bad I don't get any traffic from them)
MSN really you have to be in the top 3 for the major keywords only as they are the only ones that drive any traffic.
At work we have a lot of good rankings but the traffic from Adcenter because we are bidding number 1 for most of the terms far suppases the traffic from natural search.

So to gain traffic from MSN you have to pay umm dummm another reason why I don't like MSN![]()
Personally i'd say only less than 10% of my traffic comes from msn. Google top yahoo second then all the lil ones come following.
It is not possible to be first with tons of keywords.
With Google owning 60% of the market, I can understand why people are frustrated with MSN, but with all search related traffic, it depends on the competition and if the traffic is worth it
MSN is sort of the bastard stepchild of web search. Bing seems to be a little to late from a company that demands homage in all of our hardware and most of our productivity software. I just dont think there is enough actual usership to make a huge diffference in overall ranking here.

i dont use MSN at all for a year i think and i am alive) and my work is more than alive too)
