what is the difference between bing and msn?

Bing is the search engine collaboration between Yahoo and MSN

MSn is pure microsoft search engine where as bing is its hands tied up with yahoo in search engine

Bing is a search engine. Where as MSN is variety of content like news, events, market watch, etc. I think it is short for microsoft network.

Thanks for clearing this up. I actually thought Bing was only owned by Microsoft and was their upgraded version of MSN.

Now, MSN search collaborate with Bing. If you search on MSN, it will be redirect to Bing.

The difference between MSN and Bing are MSN is in based of old technologies but Bing is the new technologies support and give best results.

I find no difference, for me it is old wine(msn) in new bottle(bing).

Thanks for this thread; because from this I have also come to know about their differences.

MSN Live becomes Bing. Bing is microsoft's new organic search engine. I can say it is the replacement of MSN's old technolgy to Bing's New technology. Bing is gaining with new features as it was not found in MSN

MSN is past and Bing is the present :P

Dear presently when we search any query in MSN its show automatically redirect to Bing. So MSN is past and Bing is present.
