PR, Dedicated, and Shared IP

Hi to all.

Just a quick question.

Does it affect a website's PR when its hosted on the same IP together with a hundred websites (shared) ?

Would the website's PR be better off when it's on a dedicated IP ?

Any thoughts.. opinions.. reactions.. ?

I think it will affect only when you are interlinking the websites on the same IP. Otherwise, i do not see any problem..

Could have problems if there are 'bad' sites on the same IP, not 100% sure though. IP's can however be blocked for a number of reasons 'spam, child porn' etc.

With regards to the interlinking of the sites, it has an effect I guess. But for PR? I don't think so. PR mostly go with links, links, and more links.

Oh well, don't care much about PR. It's your rankings that you should get your focus on.
