Thread: Finally, my first PR site!

I have had my design inspiration blog open for about a month now I would say, maybe a little more, and I've already got up to PR1 doing link building and posting myself, and it's my first PR site so I thought I would post here because I'm excited. :P

its better to place ur adsense ads n right side, so more ppl will see that ads.
in text contents, use justify alignment. so ur web/blog will get a pro look. so ppl give more attention.
better to put a email subscription link or box on top side. that will get u more permanent visitors.
and use twitter link also. thats a best tool to market ur web.

PR1 is a nice jump off for a 1 month old blog.

Good going. Just keep focusing on building a worthwhile site, and build traffic, and I'm sure you will see the pagerank keep going up.
(the site was a little slow loading for me just now. Took about 30 seconds)

Yeah, I've been having problems with my host, their downtime is horrible, which is probably effecting my traffic quite a bit, I just can't find a reliable host and an affordable price.

Look into getting some plugins that cache your site and clean up the database.

Does not matter how many backlinks you have?

Because SEs are looking for theme related backlinks.

Thats right. You need to be very sure that the backlinks that you are generating are from relevant sources and if possible, should be from high PR sources as well.

It is also good to link to some .gov and .edu sites. As these sites are considered to be authority sites and hence backlinks from such sources are considered to be having good weight.

By getting only 33 backlink you get PR 1 for your site.
It is good.
Normally it takes thousands of backlink to get more high PR. I am working very hard to increase PR for my site but still not able to get any PR for my site. And you get PR in only one month excellent work you done congrats for getting 1 PR.

The site has been updated to PR2. There was a PR update a few days ago.

Good to hear that..........however, are u seeing any top rankings for your desired keyword.
While backlinking use your desired keyword as an anchor text......and you should see some top rankings along with the high PR.
