Probably some of your backlinks has been removed or the site you are linking with has downgrade in ranking too. I think the best way you can do is try to create more backlinks again for the next PR update

    Hi,

technohive has it right about backlinks the more the better.

I am not a big fan of PR. I think Big G is changing thing around. Not sure just a gut feeling.

well, since I got the downgrade in my PR the traffic from google has gone down, so my guess the PR and the traffic from google is related.

IMHO it's a myth that PR and SERPs are related. relevancy, yes - but low PR pages can beat high PR pages on keyword relevancy and show above them in SERPs.
it is very likely that Google's new Caffeine does not rate high some of your backlinks. that will have as a consequence a drop in PR and probably dropping in ranking for certain keywords.
first of all, remove Google Analytics from your website if you have them. that generally can help PR if you have a high bounce rate. second, check your traffic history and see what keywords were sending you traffic and are not doing it anymore. check them for competition from different regions (use proxies). last, go to Google Webmaster and see what's the situation there. did you change anything recently that could correlate with these symptoms? Good luck!

Maybe google saw any change in outlink and backlinks on your site. I've been there, do not stop looking for backlinks to increase pagerank :cheerful:

Hi! And what are your SERP results? I think they are much more important than Page Rank.
