Thread: Google PR 0 ? What's the reason ?

Hi all...

I have developed a new page for my site 3 months ago with all optimization done, indexed by all search engines and in google toolbar, initially it was showing "Current page is not ranked by google" message.......Suddenly, yesterday evening, it showed page rank 0 message.....what is the reason for the same....Does google penalized my page or what? The page for which google has given PR 0 is

Sometimes it takes longer than 3 months to get pagerank so it is too early to say. However, the page in question is returning a lot of invisible text which you could bear in mind

When I first created my sites, I was thinking about doing this....but after researching the subject, I did not do it at all....my site went from a PR0 to a PR4 in the first update.

Wondering what PageRank I will have on the next update!

Also since your site is only 3 months old, it may still be in the sandbox!

Matt C stated the there is no such thing as a sandbox.. It is on one of his youtube videos..I don't have time to watch them all again to find where it is at.

May be but sand box is existing when your site doesn't show in search engine result pages and doesn't get ranking that means the site is in sandbox and its not a myth it is face sometimes.so check your website, may be this problem occurs with your site.

If Matt C says there is no Sandbox, there is no damned Sandbox, got it?

Just like when Steve J says there is nothing wrong with the iPhone 4.

To the OP:

Invisible text is not gonna win you any friends in the interwebs.

Otherwise, make your page worthy of PR, and you will have PR!

that means you don't have sufficient back links to have pr 1.. and might be Google don't have indexed your site..

you want to say that at first your page was unranked and...now it is having pagerank 0...
if its so then its good for your site....not bad ..you dont need to worry about this

It is just a normal thing. PR 0 shows it has got indexed. You will get a PR value depending on the optimization procedure you have approached.

Yes, Matt C stated the there is no such thing as a sandbox.. But sometimes it happens, that your site is in sandbox......

I love playing in the sand box, but never managed to find it myself, I have invisible text but still have a rank of 6 on google keep promoting your site not just rely on the search engine to do the work for you, the web has many ways of working and you need to find out what brings in the traffic one bit at a time, as no one will just give it to you, start with a great stats tracker and learn by what it tells you one bit at a time

In last three months Google just once update its PR, Google update PR after about 3 months, so sooner Google will update its PR, try to have as many links as you can to get Good PR.

google pr 0 its so many reasons please check your site errors, keywords, seo and improve your backlinks.

If its just a subpage, it's just common to have pr 0 for that page. Subpages usually don't have PR.

PR 0 shows it has got indexed. You will get a PR value counting on the optimization procedure you have neared.

The best thing you can do is build authoritative links and do not manipulate the search engine. Once you do that you achieve the PR you want.

Dont worry. It is like a reward for you from google not a punishment. Just continue to make useful and unique posts in your site and in future google will reward you more with their page rank feature.

If you check the source by using your browser, you can see the HTML source code for any webpage. This is how you can see if there is invisible text, just because it is not visible to site visitors, does not mean that it is invisible to search engines. Lots of people attempt to have invisible text on their webpages in order to manipulate search engines into believing that there are tons of keywords on any given website.

This is extremely black hat and will eventually get you banned. Google is smart enough to realize when webmasters attempt to hide content from site visitors. This is acheived by simply making the font color the same exact color as the background.

You may have to wait for the next Pagerank update. Usually after getting a new page indexed you get a Pagerank 0. If it really should be higher based on marketing then you have to wait until Google updates the toolbar.

Well at start toolbar shows no page rank information available and as website gets older it starts showing 0 page rank.
