Thread: Page rank on internal pages

Any tips on getting page rank on internal pages? It seems only our home page gets it.

Patience and good content :P If you have good content that people naturally link to it will help. It's all a waiting game IMHO. Mine started having only homepage PR, but it will come with time typically to spread the PR throughout your site. How old is the site?

Exactly. Having good content is very important. On one of my sites, I have several internal pages with very high pagerank.

throw links from your homepage to the inside pages

yes! get some links from inner pages too.

If you want your inner pages to have page rank as well - build (dofollow) backlinks pointing to those pages as PR is assigned to individual pages.

Good content and linkback are the most important. This would definetly help you get a PR. And as Kaos said, "Patience", this is really important....

I'd also add internal linking helps. Meaning within those pages, link to other appropriate pages in your site in your content, not just having navigation.

Internal linking, Link Baiting and Good content are some of the things that boost pageranks for internal pages...

I was checking a site of mine the other day (can't remember which one now) and noticed it was page rank one, but the internal pages were PR2
