Arrow Avoid High Transaction Charge Using Paypal

this has been around for some time but i have used search
on WTF but can't seem to find one.
this compelled me to share this with those who are young ones on
    PayPal, including young once.

PayPal's "Mass Pay" feature, which only costs $1 in fees, instead of the usual 4%,
is a feature not popularly used OR probably less understood.
this will save big bucks especially when transacting >$100 or so.

but how to use this feature. let me summarized what i have learned from
    other forums.

    1. Open up notepad

    2. Type the following information. Use Tab space (tab key and not space bar) in between
    example:
    recipient@hisdomain.com 100 USD

this will arrange a payment from your account to recipient@hisdomain.com for US$100.
this file will be uploaded as explained below.

    3. Save the .txt file.

    4. Login to your PayPal account.
    - Once logged in, scroll down to see the "Mass Pay" link at the footer.

    5. Upload your .txt file by browsing it from your saved location.
Type in the e-mail address you want the receipt to be sent to and perform the payment by clicking the button.
    THAT'S IT!
That's a $1 maximum transaction charge for you.
    Big savings for us all.

let me know if it's not clear enough.

Will this now work for just one payment?

Used to be, you had to enter in 2 or more emails, etc for it to work.

It would kick back if only one email was used.

    It says for MASS payment.
No where does it say you can use it for ONE payment to one person.

srry wasn't trying to answer your question.

I imagine it would work with just 1. not sure, didn't find a answer.

I tell you where this would rock, is with affiliate systems
or whatever you run where you pay mulitple people, have it
create a file format of people needing payment load it into
paypal, confirm their accounts and boom, automated (sort of)
    mass payments.

I always used it in the past for mass payments.
But not for one, as it would kick back that there is only one payment to be made.

May try it again with one payment when I need to pay someone $50 or more.

actually i have tried this using a single payment and
transaction was successful. so i guess it works on any other payments.

btw, guys. this is only applicable to Business/Premier accounts.
    Personal accounts is a no-no.

well i have learned that abuse of this feature will get your paypal account
suspended. so i guess, use it with discretion.

Even if your payments are valid, they will limit your account with no reason, then guess what can happen when you r trying to cheat them.

I wouldn't risk my PayPal account on something like this. However, if there was a 1 or 2 off account that I needed to make a large transaction on this is how I will do it.

    Thanks for the info.
