Smile What are the Payment Processor simmilar to Paypal?

I am using paypal to accept credit cards. I am not getting any sales because of them.

Is there any other credit card processing program that do that.

I am not interested in paying monthly fees or setup money.

I only want them to cut a fraction of my money and send me the money by Cheque every month.

    I sell arround $10-$20 / month.

    Regards
    Sanjay

Google Checkout is the way forward. Low transaction fees, great fraud detection/prevenetion systems. No problems as of yet (and my thread here shows I have problems with PayPal).

Otherwise you may want to look at solutions such as Protx, but with a lot of Payment Processors you will have to pay a monthly subscription fee, so you will need a high transaction throughput to make it worthwhile.

    Hope this helps.

Yeah I agree. Try Google Checkout. I have a friend who tried to use it. And he got no problem with it.

AlertPay is another good option for me. It has a secondary PIN required to reduce fraudulent activities and also, it has low transaction fees.

as i see it, google checkout is better than paypal. i also registed moneybooker, but i did not get their address confrimation letter. but if you only receive 15-20usd per month, better use your friend's paypal or google checkout account and ask them to pay cash to you directly.many people sells in ebay,so it is the most simple way for you.

For those selling, or thinking about selling via ebay you need to make note of what payment options you are allowed to use.

Clearly they are trying to maintain a hold on the market with their low quality PayPal payment system, as they have recently banned any other payment options.

You are no longer able to accept checks, or money orders. Also, if you try and promote Google Checkout in your listings you will get your fingers slapped hard.

Did I mention I hate ebay/paypal and can't wait for a new market leader to emerge!

I'm in agreement there. I sold a laptop on ebay and they held my funds (including the shipping cost which I usually use to... omg... actually pay for shipping) for something like three weeks because the seller never left feedback. On top of that they took almost all of my profit in fees. I'll never sell on ebay again. The scam is that they hold you money in one of their own accounts and invest it for X days before they pay you. So while you're waiting for your money, they're making X percent on it - like a bank. Last I checked, a real bank doesn't eat into your profits. What needs to happen is for someone to declare paypal a bank and make them start abiding by banking regulations.

I'm not sure but there used to be a thing called Egold but I dont know if they are still around.

You can also try Plimus. There are no setup charges, no monthly fees, no hidden fees. In fact, all you pay is a small commission on each sale you make. They also offer a lot of free extra features such as customer support and fraud protection.

I haven't tried any other payprocessors other than Paypal so I can't comment on which one is similar. But in my opinion, Paypal cannot be replaced by any other payprocessors since it do have lots of users online and can easily transfer money.

Since the OP is looking at a payment processor mainly for credit card processing then Google Checkout would be the best option IMO.

If you are looking for Payment processor, that is considered to be similar to PayPal then it would be Alertpay... How ever there are several other trusted payment processors; like Google checkout and Moneybookers...
