Default What's the next best besides PayPal?

I am looking to increase revenue by offering more ways for people to pay. I currently accept the major credit cards and have a PayPal account. Pretty standard stuff. Anyone have suggestions for the next payment solution I should choose in addition?

I had a falling out with 2co.com so they are out of the question. They cancel accounts and ban people for the flimsiest reasons. They freeze people's funds, too.

Thanks for the suggestions. Interestingly, a customer advocate from 2Checkout found the comment I made here about them and someone e-mailed me. He started working there after my account had been canceled. He mentioned the restricted product I had been selling is no longer restricted under their policies and said that 2Checkout could have done a better job of communicating to me. The whole issue was that I changed things to comply with 2Checkout's policies but they canceled my account anyway. I still don't plan on using them but I guess they aren't so bad if they took the time to clear the air.

It's unfortunate about your fallout with 2CO, I've had good experiences with them to be honest. MoneyBookers is pretty decent too.

I would also say AlertPay because their fees are lower and the support is better but they have less costumers than PayPal.

Alertpay is the best for a number of reasons.

However if you have any type of system that could be interpreted as approximating MLM then Alertpay is a must as they encourage it and do not freeze monies as Paypal does.

Also, it is very easy to open an account and they also offer different types of account depending on your needs.

I used Paypal for a while because my clients used it a lot but I switched over to Cube Cart for my web site.

I always used Paypal's site integration so I could receive payments for orders and give out receipts but Cube Cart was a good alternative I found. It came preloaded on Fantastico which my host included in my CPanel.

    Hang on there simplyamazing12:

Let me get this right, Cube Cart has started processing credit cards? Last time I checked, Cube Cart was a Shopping cart.

I would have figured that by now you would have learned the difference between a Payment Processor and a Shopping Cart at the MyHosting.com forums.

If you're not afraid for fees, Plimus is a good alternative. The only negative point is their lack of consumer support and that your first 5 customers purchases have to be phone verified.

If you are comparing Paypal i.e. ease of use, good layout, transfer to bank and CC...

AlertPay. Hands down. And better seller protection.

I have read all the responses. yes they are fine.

But I want to add my opinion from personal experience.

I come from a non paypal supported country, so I have
done a lot in terms of looking for a paypal alternative
and below are my findings based on personal experince.

    The best 2 are Alertpay.com and Moneybookers.com

The following are the pros and cons of each.

Alertpay is not as popular as PP, but many people can
easily sign up and pay you through them just like Paypal.
They allow you accept credit and debit card payments
once verified. The company is based in Canada with good
customer support. They allow refunds and charge backs
just like PAYPAL and because of this, customers are not
afraid to pay you using them as they can still get back
their money if you fail to deliver.

Moneybookers.com - This is another great coy similar to
above, but the payment is final meaning once a customer
pays with MB, he can never get back his / her money, even
if Seller fails to deliver. This is a major setback as people are
afraid especially if dealing with you for the first time.

so from above you can decide on which one to go with.

For me Alertpay is the best after PAYPAL.
